Albert Pang
Albert Pang FCCA, FACPA and a non-practicing member of ICPAS started his career in Audit with Coopers & Lybrand, Singapore a Certified Public Accountants Firm in 1968 and since 1973 joined Keppel Shipyard Internal Audit team before embarking his shipping career as an Accountant with an internationally well-known Singapore ship agency firm and thereafter spent nearly 20 years as Financial Director and later as Managing Director a well established Norwegian/ American Ship Owning, Ship Management & Agency. He spent the next 10 years of his career as General Manager with a globally known Norwegian listed Off-shore Oil & Gas organization which specializes in the project, conversion, commissioning and operations of FPSO, FSO and Mooring systems.
During his Shipping and Off-shore Oil & Gas career, he has been the appointed Correspondent Agent for South and South East Asia to the Norwegian Hull club, a well reputed Internationally Marine Hull & Machinery and Loss of Hire Underwriters operating out of Bergen, Oslo & Kristiansand. He has considerable knowledge and experience in most aspect of Shipping and its administrative, management and operations of ships of various capacities, types and classes. Ian Christopher Pang, Bachelor in Business (Accountancy) was educated in Melbourne, Australia and graduated from Monash University in 2001 before serving two and half years as an officer cadet and later 2nd Lieutenant with MINDEF, Singapore.
Following that, he spent 2 years as an Audit Senior in Moore Stephens, Singapore, an International Certified Public Accountants Firm. Currently, he now assumes a management support role with APMC, in early 2007. |
